How should Christians deal with tensions that arise between their faith and their citizenship? What does Christian citizenship look like?

Jointly with Theos, IBAC will co-host a panel debate on this topic in the Houses of Parliament. Panellists will include Nigel Biggar, Professor of Moral and Pastoral Theology at Christ Church, Oxford; Claire Foster-Gilbert, Director of The Westminster Abbey Institute; and Ida Glaser, Director the Centre of Christian-Muslim Studies, Oxford.

The event will also launch a new book by IBAC:

Christians living in Muslim-majority states face a difficult question - should they retreat from public life, join in culturally while confining their Christian practice or approach the system in a critically engaged way as Christians? This new collection of essays uses a Christian vision of citizenship to show how the latter is possible. Theos' Ben Ryan has contributed a chapter on citizens, migrants and states.
